It's spitting in Cornwall and that's not just the weather...
After much anticipation over whether or not she would even turn up, Amy Winehouse appeared on stage at the Eden Project to a packed audience of 6000 fans.
Bookmakers William Hill had odds of 2-1 that she wouldn't appear.
The first couple of songs were great. For someone so tiny, it's hard to see where that huge singing voice comes from, and it bellowed out of the arena and into the surrounding countryside.
But then things started to go a bit pear-shaped.
Amy appeared to want more feedback from the crowd than she was getting, and when this didn't arrive she seemed to become more introvert on stage, and less confident in her ability. She tried talking to the audience and referred to the biomes as "BioDomes" which is a common mistake - when this was met with several chuckles from the audience Amy appeared flustered and referred to herself as "stupid".
Several times she appeared to lose the lyrics and could be heard to mumble through the songs, and was apparently seen referring to lyric sheets on the stage floor. Staring blankly into the stage lights for long durations during songs was also a bit worrying.
Amy rushed off stage a couple of times and appeared to come back on crying at one point. After a bizarre introduction of her band which lasted for 10 minutes, Amy had a "wardrobe malfunction" which saw her fiddling with the zip of her tiny shorts for a couple of minutes.
More worryingly Amy began to hit herself in the head with her fist and microphone and looked frustrated with her performance.
Toward the end of the show, Amy finished a song and ran off stage. The crowd looked stunned and couldn't believe this was the end of the show and started booing and shouting. After 5 minutes Amy appeared on stage again and launched into a further song.
It was during this song that Amy decided to spit at the crowd. Our photographer managed to get a three shot sequence of her doing this which ran in the Daily Mail and on other International websites.
She could be seen wiping and holding her nose during this song (which many concert-goers thought to be suspicious) and toward the end simply dropped the mic and ran off, jumped into a waiting Land-Rover and sped off out of the Eden Project.
The stunned audience waited for 10 minutes then started to leave. Heading out of the venue, people were discussing the show saying how poor the performance was and how they felt they had wasted their time and money.
We just hope that someone shows Amy some support and real guidance, and that Amy has the commonsense to accept it.
Bring back the real Amy Winehouse, we know she's in there somewhere.
